All of our treatments begin with an in-depth consultation during which we will discuss factors such as lifestyle, symptoms, and treatment details. Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment
Cosmetic acupuncture primarily focuses on aesthetic concerns of the face, although your provider can also use this method to treat skin concerns throughout your body.
Recovery
Your skin will feel tight and be slightly red for 8-12 hours following microneedling. For one week after you will want to wear sunscreen and your skin may feel slightly more sensitive. After that you will be back to normal.
Before receiving your Cosmetic Acupuncture, we recommend you:
Make sure to eat a full meal 1 to 2 hours prior to your appointment. Avoid alcohol and caffeine. Arrive to your appointment in comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. If possible having a clean face with no make-up is preferred.

We use very small, thin needles for your acupuncture treatment! Most patients report feeling no pain at all and find the treatment quite relaxing.

How many treatment sessions do I need?

A typical treatment series is 1x per week for 8-12 weeks, and maintenance treatments every 4-6 weeks. Sometimes just yearly maintenance is needed.
